Annie Mae Mackie Nickerson was born in Augusta, Georgia, on October 27, 1926, to the late
Deacon Henry and Minnie Hardy Mackie. She peacefully entered into rest at the age of 92 on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the residence of her daughter Veleta in Madison, Alabama.

She was educated in the public schools of Richmond County. She was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital and retired after forty-four years of dedicated service.

At an early age, Annie Mae was baptized and joined the First Mount Moriah Baptist Church under the stewardship of Rev. M. Seymour….Click here to view Obituary…..
