Mrs. Shirley Mae Ward was born on February 26, 1949, in Augusta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Mr. Isaac and Rozena Abraham, both deceased.

She was employed as a cook, something she loved to do, by the Ramada Inn Hotel and Country Buffet in Augusta for many years. Eventually, she changed her line of work and became a part of the housekeeping staff at the Uptown VA Hospital in 1977. She was a faithful employee there until 1988 when she was no longer able to continue due to health problems……Click here to View  Obituary….
