Jerri Marie Hunter, formerly of Augusta, Georgia, passed away in Greenville, South Carolina, on December 25, 2022, at age 67. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 24, 1955, to the late Stephen and Sophia Williams.

The family moved to Augusta, Georgia in her youth, and she attended Lucy C. Laney High School, where she played basketball. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church since April 1968.
