Ms. Hiawatha Rechard McGlone, daughter of the late Willie Johnson and Emma Neal Johnson, passed away on November 22, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia.

Hiawatha, affectionately known by her many friends as “Polly”, was born on October 1, 1933 in Augusta, Georgia.

She graduated from high school while living in Savannah, Georgia. Later in life, her love for spiritual things led her to study God’s Word more, and in 1962, she became baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses while living in New York. In 1965, she began her career as a Master Barber after graduating from barber school on Long Island, New York.
