Dr. Clarence William Joyner, Jr was born on October 28, 1947, in Georgetown, South Carolina to the late Reverend Clarence and Ruth Joyner, Sr. He departed this life to be with God on Sunday, February 17, 2019. He was the only son and brother of his family.

Dr. Joyner received his education from Howard High School, Georgetown, South Carolina. After high school, he attended and graduated from Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina. Shortly after college, he served in the United States Army as an Instructor and Communications Supervisor. Once honorably discharged from the Army he continued his work experience with Plant Vogtle as Senior Inspector and Training Coordinator. Dr. Joyner had such a passion and love for his community and youth which lead him to become the chaplain at South Carolina State College, the Behavioral Modification Coordinator for District 5 Schools, and Human Resource Manager for the Family Health Center, all located in Orangeburg, South Carolina…..Click here to View……
