James Edward, “J”, “Jimmy”, Gaither was born to the late Jack and Edna Gaither of Baltimore, Maryland on August 29, 1943.

On June 18, 1969, he enlisted in the United States Armed Forces and within those twenty-one years, he bravely fought in the Vietnam War. He completed two tours of duty in Korea and Germany as a Military Intelligence Specialist.

Upon retiring from the Army, he enrolled in the Police Academy and served as Lieutenant at Bushfield Airport for a number of years. Later in life, James became a certified law enforcement officer….Obituary….
