Charlie E. Fields, also known as Charles Fields, was the son of the late Willie and Mae Della Fields. He was born August 25, 1943, in Burke County, Georgia.

As a young man, he was drafted into the United States Army and did a tour in the Korean War. While in the Army, he followed a career in the Military Police Force. After his time in the military, he worked for Merry Brick Company, Augusta Public Transit, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department, which he retired after twenty-two years and Sizemore Security, which he was presently worked until his passing.

He had a love for police and security work. He was a man of character, integrity and was always out to help whoever he could, no matter where he worked and many people knew him for that….Click here to view Obituary….
