Lizia Paris Elam Love was born July 15, 1934 in Lincolnton, Georgia to the late Mattie “Pat” Ramsey Elam and John “Bud” Elam.


At an early age she was converted and baptized at Mulberry C.M.E. Church in Lincolnton, Georgia.  She received her early education background in the Lincoln County School System.


She was united in holy matrimony to Clinton “Shorty” Love on January 6, 1951.  They later moved to Passaic, New Jersey, where she continued her Methodist beliefs and joined Bethel A.M.E. Church, Passaic, New Jersey.  Lizia served in the capacities of Stewardess Board president and secretary, and she was a member of the Missionary Society.


Lizia was employed with Sample-Master, Inc. of Saddle Brook, New Jersey for eighteen years as a master machine operator. Upon retiring Lizia relocated back to Georgia, and made her home in Augusta. She renewed her membership with the Mulberry C.M.E. Church, where she was a faithful member and worked diligently with the Stewardess Board… view obituary.
